NinosDelSol was established in 1997. NinosDelSol has a deep family tradition specializing in Chicano cuisine. Our restaurant’s are known for our tamales and green chile. We have been using the same recipes and procedures for generations that our grandparents Joe and Efrosina Baca, Joe Masias and Mary Cipriana Padilla Madrid Masias have passed down to us. Our family the Masias’s and Baca’s passion for serving authentic Chicano cuisine started in the 1940’s. Until this day we still pride ourselves in serving the same food they served. Mary Cipriana Padilla Madrid owned the Sunshine Cafe in Rocky Ford. Joe and Efrosina Baca owned Joe’s also located in Rocky Ford Colorado. Joe Masias owned Mission Bell Inn located in Colorado Springs. He also owned the Mercury Hall Tavern in Rocky Ford Colorado. Our family has numerous restaurants throughout Colorado.
